What is the marriage process in CA? 

  • 1. Obtain a Marriage License:
    Couples must obtain a marriage license from a County Clerk's office or through a licensed notary like Sarah, Wedding with Christina's in-house notary public.

    • Both parties need to appear in person, present valid government-issued IDs, and provide any required documentation (e.g., divorce papers if previously married). 

  • 2. Ceremony:
    The marriage must be solemnized by an authorized officiant.

  • 3. File the License:
    After the ceremony, the signed marriage license must be returned to the County Clerk's office for official recording.

No, we do not issue marriage licenses.

Do you have an office?

​No, we do not have a formal office but can travel to your desired location for the ceremony.
